Summit on Library Services to Children

DCLA is hosting a summit to discuss Library Services to Children. We have invited local experts to set the stage and will host a discussion about how library services can influence the development of children, from birth through high school.

The event is being sponsored by the DCLA Interest Group on Children, Young Adults and Teens. Attendees will be able to learn about the current status of library services and about how they can network, partner, and coordinate with one another, across political and organizational boundaries.

DCLA hopes this event will encourage attendees to continue the discussion in smaller groups across the District in the days and months ahead.
